The Alpaca Farm Experience is a fun hands-on farm experience for animal lovers of all ages. Join the free range herd and watch them closely interact with each other and jostle for attention. Hand feed and observe their cheeky behaviour!
It’s an opportunity to learn all about alpacas and the Australian alpaca industry. The activity includes an informative talk on the origins and history of alpacas, why they are so good for our environment, their uses and their husbandry.
You also get to see alpaca products from raw fleece to finished product, from paddock to product.
Make sure you bring your camera as these adorable animals are extremely photogenic and it’s a chance to create some cherished memories that will always bring a smile to your face! As they sit at 1000 metres above sea level, it is cooler in Crookwell. It is recommended to include a jacket and wear suitable closed in shoes.
All visitors leave as Australian Alpaca Ambassadors! Bookings are essential! Free parking on site.
