The Crown Theatre Cafe will be hosting an exhibition featuring artist Amy Curran.
Amy started her creative career as a professional photographer gaining accreditation with the AIPP in 2014. She went on to win National and International awards including Silver Medals in Tokyo and Moscow and a Highly Commended in Las Vegas. Her work has been published in several publications.
After achieving these awards Amy’s creativity started to wander and she applied to the London Art College to study Children’s Book Illustration. She graduated with a Distinction. She has since illustrated over 20 books as well as her own bestseller You Can Draw – step by step with Amy Curran.
Amy also teaches art in person and online and has helped close to 300 students over the years. In 2020 she was awarded the Picture House Gallery award and has won the Children’s Choice award at the Taralga Art Show for three years running from over 300 entries at each show. Her work is collected by local and international admirers. Amy’s preferred choice of medium is Pastel.
