The Gunning Showground is home to a large open free camping space, amenity blocks, a rugby field, tennis courts, and Endeavour Park, which boasts a playground, skate park, and exercise equipment.

Free camping is permitted for three nights at the showground. The amenity block has toilets and hot showers, drinking water is available. The sites are unpowered.

Gunning township offers all the services of a typical country town, including cafes, a post office, a petrol station, and a pub serving cold drinks and meals.
