Binda Picnic Races

First held in 1848, the Binda Picnic Races are held in March each year at the Funny Hill property - the oldest country race course in Australia.

Description


Punters flock from all over the state to the township of Binda, 20km north of Crookwell on the Bathurst Rd, for a classic country race meet including “Fashions on the Field”. The Binda Picnics is a great social occasion for which buses run from Crookwell as their are bar and food facilities available on site.


Gates open 10am with the first race at 12.30pm and the last at 4.45pm


Cost of entry


$30 per person


Return bus tickets from Crookwell to the course and back - $15 available from Crookwell Hotel/Motel
